Coupled with our cultural classes and career planning, we will increase your chances of landing an internship and a full-time offer.

Our Mentors

Our mentors at the American Mentor Program are the heart and soul of our initiative. They are passionate and dedicated, and they have a deep understanding of American culture, bringing a wealth of knowledge and insights to support you on your journey. Having attended university in America, each mentor is carefully selected for their expertise, empathy, and commitment to helping international students thrive. We will do our best to match you to a mentor that has a similar profession as you.

Program Services

At the American Mentor Program, we are committed to providing a holistic and enriching experience for all our international students.

Dedicated Mentor

At the start of the program, we will assign a dedicated mentor that is most closely aligned with your studies and preferences. With their first-hand knowledge of American culture and education, they will get you up to speed in no time.

Mentors will provide:

1. Weekly check-ins – Mentors will organize weekly 30-minute sessions to answer any questions the student may have and guide him/her in the right direction.
2. Parent check-in – Once a month, mentors will provide general feedback to the student’s parents.
3. Personal access – Mentors will provide their personal number so students can reach out to them for any number of questions during business hours.

Disclaimer: while our mentors are committed to providing unwavering support, they are not trained therapists or counselors. If a student requires professional therapy services, we will direct them in the right direction.

Dedicated Text Support

We understand that challenges may arise at any time. That’s why we offer a dedicated text support line during business hours that any student can message and that any mentor can respond to. We’ll also provide a chat room for all mentees of a similar cohort, creating a supportive community for students to share experiences, ask questions and develop connections.

Every week, we provide an online class on a practical life skill that will help students integrate into American culture. These topics include but are not limited to:

We’ll equip you with the necessary skills and tools needed to excel in today’s competitive job market. Our mentors and dedicated career specialists will aid the student in the following:

1. Personalized Career Guidance – assess a student’s strengths and interests to determine relevant job opportunities.
2. Resume Building – craft an optimal resume to stand out from the crowd.
3. Interview Preparation – practice sessions with structured feedback.
4. Networking Strategies – offer practical tips and tools to help you open doors to potential jobs; create connections for you.
5. Job Search Support - We’ll give you LinkedIn Premium for free and help you fine-tune your search.
6. Elevator Pitch – empower your pitch to leave a lasting impression.
7. Industry Insights – our mentors we’ll shed light on job market trends, industry demands, and emerging opportunities.

Pricing

Our pricing structure is designed to offer flexible options that cater to your individual needs and ensure you receive the best value from our program.

Monthly Subscription

• $500/month: Our standard subscription plan offers access to all program benefits, including personalized mentorship, weekly cultural classes, text support.

Semester Subscription (4 months)

• $1,900 one-time payment: For students seeking a longer-term commitment, we offer a discounted semester plan at $1,400, which covers the full duration of one academic semester.

Yearly Subscription

• $4,800 one-time payment: For the most value-conscious students, our yearly subscription plan offers significant savings at $4,800 per year.

Add-On: Internship/Job Placement

• 10% of Annual Salary: Our mentors will tap their own personal connections to help place you in an internship/job. We'll make a referral where possible. For internships, 10% of the total compensation will be billed. For full-time offers, 10% of the total annual salary will be billed.

Special Offer

• Refer a Friend: Get an additional month free on your monthly subscription for each successful referral.
• Early Bird Enrollment: Enroll before the start of the school year (9/1) and enjoy 10% off your first payment.
